Northern England

So I took the train from Northern wales to New Castle. After a night, I was ready to move on to my next adventure. Hadrian’s Wall. From New Castles Hadrian’s Wall is easily accessible by a Rambler Bus (just like I used on the Atrium Coast: I stopped at three stops: Vindalanda, Homesteads and Chesters Roman forts.

Don’t let the blue sky fool you. It was windy that day and I still had the sniffles.

My second day was actually to explore New Castle. I went to the Castle Keep and the Discovery Museum which was very interesting since I had just gone to the Roman settlement.

York, My first day in York, I fell in love with another city. York has so much of the medieval city intact. I spent a lot of time sketching buildings. This was the first sight: CLiffords Tower.

The next is York Minster.

Tomorrow, I leave England for my scotland trip.
