Do what I do: Push that shy person down into the pit of your stomach and pretend you are the most outspoken and extroverted person ever!
Also I flat out acknowledged yesterday that I was nervous and that they were the the biggest group I ever spoke to–so far. Two reasons: 1) The front row at least could see me blush and that my hands were shaking and 2) That put the crowd on my side immediately since it was likely alot of them were introverted writer types too.

Still, it’s a big feat and I’m very impressed! I only hope I can be as successful. I didn’t even consider conventions until I read about your stuff. Maybe one day there will be one near me so I can come and show some support!
